Bamun, Bamoun, Bamum ou Bamoum
ethnie du Cameroun. Ils parlent une langue bantoue du sous-groupe bantoïde. Ce sont des agriculteurs. Leur art rappelle celui de leurs voisins, les Bamiléké. Dans une production abondante et diverse (sculpture, broderie, fonderie, art de la perle, etc.), la sculpture sur bois joue un rôle important, en particulier les statuettes et les masques.
